What's in the Demo

The demo is a fully functional Carpet Cleaning Operations, Service Contractor Dispatch and Scheduling Software program. The company, named “Your Company” is set geographically in northeastern Ohio, with corresponding zip codes. There is only one customer named Bertin, and one job scheduled on January 2nd, 2006.   You can enter test records, appointments, production numbers and run reports to see how much Operations will  enhance your company. You can also delete the two sample records and actually start using Operations with your own “real” data for a period of 30 days.

30 Day License

If you want to test drive the software for 30 days you can either send us an email or call us at 1-800-683-1545 and request a Free 30 day license.  This is a FULLY functional version of PCOM Operations with a 30 day time limit.  If you choose to buy you can continue to use the software and any data you have entered.

Installing the Demo

You will have two options for installing PCOM Operations:

1) Click the download link on this page and when prompted click “Run”.  Please note that it may take several minutes to install the software depending on your connection speed.  The program is approximately 8.6MB.

The demo will immediately install to your computer. Just follow the instructions. When asked for a password, enter DEMO.  The demo will be installed, an icon will be placed in your Start Menu as well as your Desktop.


2) Click the download link on this page and when prompted click “Save”.  Please note that it may take several minutes to download the software depending on your connection speed,  The program is approximately 8.6MB.

The PCOM demo will be saved to your computer at any location you specify. When you are ready to install the demo, just double click on the file and follow the instructions. The demo will be installed and an icon will be placed in your Start Menu as well as your Desktop.  When asked for a password, enter DEMO

3) When setup is complete, select Start > Programs > Operations Demo > Operations Demo from the windows start menu.  CarBasePro will load and you will be presented with the licensing agreement.  You must agree by clicking on the "I Agree" button to proceed.  When asked for a password, enter DEMO and enjoy using the program.

Vista Users - Please read our Vista installation instructions below before installing !


Important Vista Installation Notes:

PCOM Operations software is Microsoft Vista compatible however there are numerous security changes in Vista which require you to TURN OFF the "User Account Control" (UAC) feature in Vista when you install or un-install programs.

To install Operations you will need to turn off UAC first (see instructions below) then after installation TURN UAC back on and Operations will run properly.

To turn UAC off and back on:

1) Click on Start>Settings>Control Panel
2) Double click on "User Accounts".
3) Click on "Turn User Control Account on or off".
4) When Vista asks for permission click on "Continue".
5) At the User Account Control screen, click on the checkbox to select whether
you want to turn UAC on or off.
6) Click on the "OK" button.
